“ We came here for our 35th wedding anniversary. So glad we did! The staff is very friendly and attentive. They made our evening feel very special. We were seated at a table on the terrace. We both ordered an excellent chardonnay that was available and paired well with our seafood dishes. About halfway through the meal, they raised the screens so everyone could view the sun setting. “ It felt so good to see the lights of a restaurant on Front Street again. The atmosphere is like no other, oceanside is an understatement. The restaurant sits ON the ocean. You are so close you can see the turtles swimming. The Food is TOP NOTCH. We started with the Ahi Bruschetta & the Oyster shot. For dinner we chose Cioppino, Diver Scallops & the Fresh Fish Dore, hard to pick a favorite here... they were all delicious. We were way to full for dessert but my Puako Sunset cocktail was dessert enough for me. Service was impeccable. There isn’t really a bad seat in the house as everything has an ocean view. If you are looking for a more romantic experience I recommend the seaside tables outside. ”
“ My husband and I visited Honu Oceanside for our last night in Maui on our anniversary trip. This restaurant was easily one of the best restuarants we have been to. We had oyster shooters, their Spanish octopus for appetizers and their special dish - the Manchung for entrees. The food was fantastic, and the service was absolutely excellent. We finished with the chocolate mousse cake which was so rich and delicious. Thank you Honu Oceanside for having us! We ended up discovering a wonderful place to recommend our friends and family to. ”
“ Honu Oceanside had a great atmosphere with very friendly staff. We had Mikey as our server and he was super helpful and clear when speaking to us! The oceanside aspect of the restaurant did not disappoint! We were seated in their outdoor seating and we were right next to beach with the rocks and water (attached in one of the photos). Our seating added to the experience however, I feel that anywhere else in the restaurant would still provide a cool and enjoyable time! I ordered the Crab Mac and Cheese and it was SO good. I really enjoyed the blend of cheese and consistency of the mac and cheese itself. Additionally, the crab added a nice touch to the dish and was not too overpowering to me. 10/10 recommend the mac! For dessert, we decided to try the Apple Pie and it was delicious! It was the perfect size and taste to end off the meal and the night here in Lahaina. If you have some extra room and enjoy apple pie, give it a shot! Overall, this is a really good restaurant in the Lahaina area. Great portions, reasonable prices, amazing staff, and even better food! ”

“ This is the perfect place for a great meal with wonderful views. Great food selection, tasty beverages and fantastic service. We started with the Ahi Bruschetta, and for the main dish we ordered the Diver scallops and Manchung, which is their special dish. For dessert, the waiter recommended the butterscotch pot-de-creme, which was amazing. I recommend that you make reservations as the restaurant is very popular ”
